What Happens During a Happy Tails Meet and Greet?

Before I start walking or looking after a new pet, I always like to arrange a meet and greet first. It gives us a chance to get to know each other, and most importantly, gives your pet time to get comfortable with me in their own environment.

During the visit, we’ll chat through everything I need to know, their routine, feeding times, favourite walks, personality, any medical needs, and all those little quirks that make them who they are.

It’s also a chance for you to ask me any questions and talk through exactly what you’re looking for, whether that’s regular dog walks, occasional pet sitting or care while you’re away.

I never want a pet to feel like they’ve suddenly been left with a stranger, so taking this time beforehand makes the first walk or pet sit feel much more familiar and relaxed.

Every animal is different, and the meet and greet helps me make sure their care is tailored completely to them.
